we love our Caribou game bags. These bags are super light weight and sturdy.
We’ve used them three times in the year that we’ve had them for California Blacktail,
New Mexico Mule deer and Utah Mountain goat. Our bags have washed up so easily
and are still looking like they are new.

We saved my wife Mary's first Elk (she shot at 17 yards), this year because of the game bags.
87 degrees when she shot her Bull. When we got back to get the second load the guts were
covered in flies with less than a handful even close to the bagged meat!

Had lots of guy's talking about your bags after they used them, many with similar stories!

I will definitely order bags again, Neal

After bagging and quartering my elk I headed back to camp to hang game bags on the meat pole,
just as we finished I tried to pull the ATV out from under the meat pole, the rope holding the pole
up in the tree broke and all the quarters hit the ground and ATV. After pulling the ATV away I was
surprised to find none of the bags had torn. I have known of the Caribou Gear game bags for years
and have been hesitant in making a change but after using the Caribou Gear game bags I can say I'm truly convinced after seeing the
performance durability but most importantly the game bags breathability, these bags are well made, and well worth the investment
in my game meat care, I will be using them over and over again.

Father and Son Rick and Derek McNeil - Colorado
Father and Son Rick and Derek McNeil The bags are outstanding! surprisingly durable, considering the fact that they
weigh next to nothing. I have washed the ones that I have at least 8 or 9 times,
and they still look & perform like new. The one problem I have is getting all of
them back if I let friends borrow them for a hunt. Even my dad, who’s an old
school hunter is sold on the technology of your bags. Truly a great product.
Thanks. Derek Mcneil

I thought along with my photo, I'd share a little info with you.
Professionally, I am a doctor of medicine and am a nationally
ranked masters level powerlifter winning my age and weight
class at the USA Powerlifting National Championships.
I recognize the health benefits of lean free range meat rich in
protein and omega 3 fatty acids. It is truly a heart smart option.
I have hunted extensively throughout the western US and Alaska.
I have animals listed in Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young and
Safari Club record books, but meat remains at the center of
why I hunt.
In many years I will harvest up to 7 animals: a bull and cow elk,
buck mule deer and antelope and as many doe antelope as tags
are available. 100 % of that meat is eaten by our family,
accordingly we treat our meat with the utmost care.

Your game bags have become an important part of that process.

I have been using the Carnivore kit this year and the Caribou Gear assorted quarter bags from the Camp Meat bag to a medium bag for 3 seasons.  First the fabric: The fabric is very light but strong .  The fabric has been blow fly and meat bee proof, and I have watch them try, no fly eggs on the meat and no chew through holes in the bags. Dirt resistance is good as heavy of canvas with very good breath-ability, the meat firms up quickly. The fabric cleans with little effort. A cold water soak helps, One washing most times gets the bag ready to go. The fabric air dries quickly.

Second the workmanship: The quality of the assembly is excellent. No blown seams, even when overloaded and compressed.
No frayed seams to stick to the meat. Some of my bags have been used as many as 9 times.

Third is the design: The bags have a quality draw strings, strong seams, reflective tabs and tie tabs, which shows planning. The configuration of the Carnivore Kit is planned out for the Deer and Pronghorn hunter. With an added medium and small bag the kit expands to Elk.

This year the Carnivore Kit with an extra bag, when needed has been used on a cow elk, a Pronghorn and 4 Mule Deer and a Sitka Blacktail.
The habitat included rocky mountain sub alpine, great basin sage, lava bed, desert and temperate rain forest. This is snow, rain and dust.
The meat quality has been excellent with each use. All meat in these bags was boned in the field and back packed out.
As of this writing the Carnivore Kit is ready for an Arizona Whitetail hunt. It all packs back in the storage bag white and clean.
Until the Caribou Gear bags came out I made my own bags.

The Game Bags are more than just game bags. You guys have really put
some thought into it and have included some great ideas and great details.
I use a ton of bags each year. Taking at least 10 caribou, a moose, sheep,
2-3 bears and musk ox here in AK each year. The cheap bags are a waste
of money, and even the better ones can't handle more than one trip.
I'm always looking for the best gear that helps me as a hunter.

Bob
Foulkrod;
Over the years I have used everything from cheese cloth to plastic mesh for
holding caribou, elk and deer in the back country. The new Big Game Bag’s by
Caribou Gear are by far the best I have ever used.
On my most recent moose hunt the dry time for meat placed in the Caribou Game Bags
was 30 to 60 minutes, and proved breathable both wet or dry. I was impressed that the
fabric does not shrink, does not swell when wet. Theses bags are recommended to
serious hunters, remote hunters, horseback hunters, backpack hunters who want
complete protection of game meat for consumption
.

I just completed a very demanding and successful fall season
guiding desert sheep hunters in some of the most difficult
terrain in southern Utah. Believe me, your Carnivore Game Bags
and Survivor Bone Saw were tested "under fire" in the
toughest field conditions. I absolutely loved the Carnivore Bags.
They were the perfect fit for deboning a big desert ram, kept the
meat clean and were also used to get shoulder and full body
capes back to civilization without any problems. Caribou Gear's
Survivor Bone Saw was light to pack and efficiently cut through
the skull plates of some very big rams. Great gear. I would
recommend these quality products to anyone who is going to
spend some serious time "out on the mountain" chasing trophy animals.

I wasn't going to take any chances!
This was my second archery sheep tag, and it took me 14 years to finally put one on the ground. I wasn't going to take any chances on ruining the meat, so the Caribou Gear bags were a natural choice. When quartering any game out, it's so convenient to just slip the bags right over the quarter before it has a chance to touch the ground. Drop it in your pack, and away you go! My Caribou Gear Game Bags are already washed, and stowed in my pack for the next harvest.  Kurt Geist, Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut

The guys that I hunted with have been using canvas game bags for years and were extremely impressed with your product, The only Caribou bags that we had are the ones that I bought, ( enough for one moose ) we used the canvas bags for the other two moose, it worked out because we were able to compare the two different types of game bags and all of us recognized that your product was superior of the two.

One thing that we noticed was the meat we put in your bags
( skinned over ) a whole lot faster than the canvas bags.
Thanks for the great product and I will be doing business with you in the future.

Ultimate Game Bag
I have had issues with other types of bags in previous years and was in search of the ultimate game bag. A friend of mine
turned me on to your bags and I took them this year on my Colorado DIY backcountry elk hunt.
The bags were a huge success!

The bags are strong, durable and lightweight yet let the meat breath. No fly eggs falling through on your bags. A pine martin wasn’t
even able to tear into them. Thanks for making a great product, I will be sure to recommend them to friends.

After 11 days of hunting the backcountry I finally cut a
tag on the buck I had been hunting since the season
opener.  I gross scored him at 177".

The Carnivore pack is amazing!! Lightweight and the
most packable game bag set I have ever used. I fit an
entire deer boned out in one bag plus an additional bag
for the head and cape. Almost 100 lbs worth of meat in
one bag. All you need to do is use a Big Game Bag once
and you'll never go back to using another bag again.
Nothings getting to your meat.

The bags are PERFECT!!!!
I washed them w/o bleach and they look perfect and
have no odor to them. They look as clean as when they
came out of the carnivore pack.

Hunting the Flat Tops of Colorado;
The efforts of another successful hunt, deep heavy snow,
was the main battle of this hunt as many of the critters
were hunkered down and when moving migrating to
lower elevation, but persistence paid off, last day last
hour of the season of 2010. Good eating it was.

In this picture we carried variations of game bags
The Carnivore, and the Game bag packs so that if
necessary pending how far into the dark timber
we went, we would either debone and or quarter
the animal, we ultimately used The Carnivore.

I wish the very best of success for you this fall, with
a hunger, goal and persistence your hunt will surely
payoff this year.

Your bags are the best I've ever used. I used to use the canvas and _ _ _ _ _ _  , bags but the washing
was hard, they retained odors, and the cheesecloth bags tore like a wet paper sack. Your bags are tough
enough to hang moose quarters and the bloodstains come out very easy in the wash. I'll never use
cotton game bags every again. Your bags also breath so well, I use them as laundry bags to put my wet
packs and other gear in the dryer!

Justin mentioned how he used the bags for transporting the turkey and meat storage
from field to cooler, then home for packaging and freezing. Thanks Justin.

Caribou Gear,

Because of the heat and flies during the early elk season
we generally bone out our elk right after we shoot it using
the gutless method.   Your bags are perfect for this
because they are light enough to pack six game bags in
my pack when I am hunting.  Within 2 hours of the elk hitting
the ground I have it boned out, in bags, hanging in a tree.
Even though the material is lightweight, it is virtually
indestructible and absolutely fly proof.  Between all of our
hunting I filled some of the bags 4 times last year and they
are all holding up like they are new without any funky smell.
Everyone of the people that I hunted with last year went home
and ordered your bags, they are just that much better.
I have a feeling they are all going to do the same thing next
year after we use your new "The Hanger" string throw bag.
The picture is of a nice 5 point we packed out in early September.
It was pushing 90 degrees, but using this method and your bags
we lost zero meat.  Inside my pack is the first load of meat in a
ultra light game bag and the rack.  Thanks.

Colorado Elk Hunt
Here is a photo of my elk quartered/boned out and in Caribou Gear's Big Game Bags.
I carried Caribou Gear's Big Game Bags for all 17 days of my Colorado DIY archery
elk hunt.  Carrying heavy canvas bags would have weighed me down, and taken up
every inch of space in my day pack. I ended up using all 8 bags of my Medium Pack

set, which allowed me to put specific cuts of meat (i.e. neck, roast) into their own bags.
Even though the bags were completely blood soaked, they cleaned up easily in one washing.
Why anyone would purchase any other bag is beyond me! B Sol

Colorado - Mule Deer Hunt
The Bags worked great! While it wasn't a big buck, it was a fun hunt! The meat is
in the freezer!  I was able to draw an early mule deer tag this year. With
temperatures in the eighties and the flies  in full force, I was able to hunt with
confidence knowing I had my Caribou Gear deer kit in my pack.
I had my entire
deer safely enclosed in my Ultra Light Big Game Bags before the flies even knew
what happened!  I like to tie two bags together and throw two over my shoulder
for each trip.  This way a mulie only takes two trips to pack out-without even
carrying a pack frame all day!  Time was on my side during this warm weather hunt.
Thanks Caribou Gear!

Thank you for the awesome game bags, lightweight, durable, reusable and super
easy to use.  We had to pack my elk out on our backs and when we got back up the

Roger and Jeanne of Wolf lake MN; "Jeanne" We loved the game bags, because of
all the grey wolves in the area, the light reflective bags worked
beautifully, the game
bags allowed me to sleep knowing my deer could be seen at night, the deer was
hanging about 150 yards from the cabin. I can't wait to use the fish bags this summer.
Thanks Caribou Gear.   P.S. I need more ID Tags!

"Roger"
I'm so glad that we came across the game bags because I plan on bear
hunting the boundary waters wilderness area where
we only have access by canoe
or on foot and due to the warmer weather
during the hunting season the bags would
be good in this remote location,
we are always concerned with not only bear, the bold
wolves in
the area, but weight and strength is of a great concern, a quality game bag
is definitly required, your game bags will suit such a hunt.

Last hour of the last day of the season!
I couldn't be happier with the lightweight

with the last load coming out well after sun

aid of our surefire flash lights we could see
the game bags from over two hundred yards

and durability, I highly recommend the game
bags. Steve L.

The new bags worked great!!  I was able to harvest a nice bull elk this year in
Colorado (2009) I quartered and hung the meat in your bags for ten days.
The meat stayed clean and dry. The bags breathed and the meat aged prefect,
the size and number of each bag was just right. For years I used heavier canvas
type bags but no more! yours clean-up so nice and the weight advantage is so
important I cannot ever begin to tell you! Anyway I am off to Nebraska for white
tail deer cannot wait to try the deer bags from your company.

It sure was a peace of mind knowing, I could look from the tent at night
and see the game bags with no problem, due to the light reflective properties of
the game bags.  The next time I'm hunting were the Grizzly's prowl, these are
no doubt the game bags of choice.
"By the way the lock loops and ID tags are a great idea"

The game bags came in very
handy on my last pheasant hunt,
not only did the bags make the
pheasant easier to carry but
the dogs didn't harass the birds
while the bags layed on the ground.

Pheasant hunting is one of many
uses I have found for my big

I'm going duck hunting next!
These are not just big game bags,
but game bags!

Derek Mcneil - Denver, Colorado

"Derek" Great bags, lightweight and quality fabric, the stitching held well under trying conditions, I'm planning on an
